Overview

SeaArt AI is an all-in-one creative platform and community for generative AI, centered on the open Stable Diffusion and FLUX ecosystems plus some proprietary models. It is best known as a free, browser-based place to generate AI images and video without a local GPU, but it also hosts a large community model library, in-browser LoRA training, ComfyUI workflows, AI character chat, and a set of editing tools. It is operated by Singapore-incorporated Star Cluster Pte. Ltd. and launched publicly in March 2023.

What it does

Users generate images from a text prompt or a reference image (text-to-image and image-to-image), with options for aspect ratio, LoRA, ControlNet, and partial repainting, and can also generate video via text-to-video and image-to-video. A large community library of checkpoints and LoRAs (reportedly 700k+, described elsewhere as over 1 million) is shown with sample generations, and an automated recommendation system suggests suitable models and configurations from a prompt so beginners can generate in one or two clicks. In-browser LoRA training lets users fine-tune from a small reference set across bases such as FLUX Krea, SDXL, Pony, and Wan, then preview, publish, and monetize. ComfyUI is integrated for node-based pipelines, and editing tools include upscaling, background removal, object removal, and image/video face swap. A person drives every generation, so it operates as an assistant.

Integrations & setup

Use it via the web app (no install) for generation, model browsing, training, workflows, and editing. It is built on the Stable Diffusion and FLUX model families and integrates ComfyUI directly for advanced node-based work. SeaArt also offers mobile apps. As of this review no public REST API for its core features was clearly documented.

Freemium. A free tier provides a daily Stamina allowance (reportedly around 150 per day) that resets each day, with no credit card required to start, though free outputs are watermarked. Paid SVIP subscriptions reportedly run Beginner around $5.99/month, Standard around $29.99/month, Professional around $59.99/month, and Master around $149.99/month, each with progressively larger daily Stamina, watermark-free output, and faster queues; accumulating Credits can also be purchased. Best for / not for

Best for hobbyists, artists, and creators who want free, no-GPU access to a large Stable Diffusion and FLUX model library, integrated image and video generation, easy LoRA training, and ComfyUI workflows in one community platform. Less suited to teams needing brand-controlled vector or marketing design (see Recraft), a closed high-consistency generator (see Midjourney), or an autonomous creative agent.

Traction

Per a Google Cloud case study, SeaArt reported around 60,000 daily active users, roughly 20x user growth within five months, and about three million images generated per day. CEO Fei Ma has described an automated recommendation system that suggests the best models and configurations from a user's prompt. These figures are vendor- or press-reported and not independently verified, and model counts vary across SeaArt's own pages (700k+ to over 1 million).
