Higgsfield

Overview

Higgsfield is an AI-native creative suite for generating and editing video, images, and voice. It is best known for cinematic camera-motion controls and viral effect presets, and for aggregating many third-party generative models in one workspace. It was founded in 2023 by Alex Mashrabov (former head of generative AI at Snap) and reached a reported $1.3B valuation in January 2026.

What it does

Users prompt a generation, pick a model or preset, and iterate. Higgsfield generates video from text or images with camera-movement and motion controls, animates stills into short cinematic clips (reportedly up to 15 seconds), generates images (reportedly up to 4K) and trains consistent characters (Soul), and offers studios for marketing campaigns and cinematic scenes. It exposes 30+ models (reportedly Sora 2, Kling, Veo, Seedance, Wan, and its own Soul model) so users can switch models for the same task.

Integrations & setup

It runs as a web and mobile app, with plugins for Photoshop (sketch-to-image) and DaVinci Resolve. For agents, Higgsfield ships an MCP server at mcp.higgsfield.ai (browser-based login, no API keys) that gives MCP-compatible clients (Claude and others) tools for marketing-video generation from a product URL, cinematic image-to-video, viral-clip generation, character training, and virality prediction. It also exposes an API.

Pricing

Freemium with credit-based generation. Higgsfield has restructured its plans repeatedly through 2026, and secondary sources report conflicting tier names and prices, so the official pricing page is the source of truth. Reported common traits: annual billing discounts, monthly credits that do not roll over, and top-up credit packs that reportedly expire after about 90 days.

Traction

Higgsfield reported a $130M Series A (a $50M round plus an $80M extension) at a roughly $1.3B valuation in January 2026, with investors including Accel, Menlo Ventures, GFT Ventures, and AI Capital Partners. It reported a ~$200M annual run rate and over 15 million users (company figures, per TechCrunch and the company's announcement).

Best for / not for

Best for creators and social-media marketers producing short-form video, ads, and UGC who want cinematic motion control, presets, and many models in one place. Less suited to anyone needing predictable per-clip cost, long-form output, or hands-off automation.
