Overview

Stack AI is an enterprise no-code platform for building and deploying AI agents and applications, with a focus on governance and compliance.

What it does

A drag-and-drop builder lets teams create assistants, chatbots, and workflow automations, grounded with RAG and connected to 100+ native integrations across CRMs, collaboration tools, data stores, and APIs. Governance features include RBAC, audit logging, SSO, and private/self-hosted deployment, with SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance.

Classification note

Stack AI is a building platform, not an end-user agent. The autonomy of any agent you create is configured by you, so we list it as supervised-agent conservatively.

Integrations & setup

SaaS by default, with private and self-hosted/on-prem options for enterprises. Model-agnostic.

Pricing

A free edition for exploration; Enterprise is custom and billed per seat.

Acquisition note

TechCrunch reported in May 2026 that Asana acquired Stack AI. Buyers should factor in roadmap uncertainty.

Best for / not for

Best for enterprises that want to build internal AI agents without code while meeting security and governance requirements. Less suited to individuals or those wanting transparent self-serve pricing.

Alternatives

Dify is an open-source builder; Relevance AI and Lindy are agent platforms; Beam AI targets agentic process automation.
